Ustadha Ayesha Sultana spent her formative years at the Islamic School of Trenton NJ before deciding to dedicate herself to the memorization of the Quran. By the grace of Allah, she completed her memorization in 2011 at the age of fifteen. The following year she enrolled in Nakhlah Institute as a full-time student of the Islamic Sacred Sciences. At Nakhlah Institute, all the sacred sciences, including but not limited to, Arabic grammar, morphology, hiwār, hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, Aqeedah, and Quranic Exegesis (Tafseer) are taught using the original Arabic classical texts/sources to ensure their proper understanding. At Nakhlah, students study under the guidance of respected scholars and teachers possessing an unbroken chain of transmission which connects them to the early generations of Muslim scholars and ultimately to the Prophet Mohammad, peace and blessings be upon him. Ustadha Ayesha Sultana currently resides in Hamilton, NJ with her family and is actively involved in community service as well as pursuing a degree in Liberal Arts.
